GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE  CARD

The device ADC100AS1 is used for conversion of analog signals to digital codes, for storage of these codes and for their transfer through the PCI bus. Analog part of the device is based on ADC chips  of the company ANALOG DEVICES. Maximum sampling rate is 80 MHz. Results of conversion are stored in the buffer memory of the device ADC100AS1. The volume of stored realisation is 256K. Using PLIS of Virtex family of company XILINX enables to reprogram the device ADC100AS1 to execute processing analog and digital signals according to algorythms. According to the order of the buyer. Typical scheme of the card is digital oscilloscope. ADC data storage is executed synchronously with data output to the outputs of the DAC. Sampling process start is executed according to the order from a PC or according to external start code and continues till the buffer memory is full. Buffer memory volume-256k. Sampling process finish is followed by apparatus interruption processing or by card registers asking.

INSTALLATION AND USAGE OF THE DEVICE

The card is made as standard PCI broadening card. There are the card, device driver for operation systems  Windows 9x\ME\2000\XP, test software and DDL function library for card usage in the progects of the user and samples of  work in different modes are included in a set. After card installation to a free PCI slot and after PC loading operation system will recognise the device in the system. Then when the driver place is required you should indicate  the route to the file "MDMAI.inf". This file is included in software of the card. When the driver is installed under  Windows 2000\XP, if the window "Digital signature not found" you should answer "Yes" to the question " Continue installation?". After installing the driver it is necessary to reload the PC. To check the card work after successful driver installation you may use a test program Xdsp_Oscilloscope, that is included in the software of the card..
